Our business has a rich history dating back to 1858, before Abraham Lincoln was president. Hajoca had its plumbing products on display at the very first World’s Fair, held in 1876 in our hometown of Philadelphia. Adjacent to us at the fair was Alexander Graham Bell, thrilling the crowds with his brand new invention, the telephone, commanding almost as much attention as our exciting displays of new indoor plumbing!
Our name is an acronym derived from the names of the three visionaries who recognized the need and the potential of that new concept, indoor plumbing, and vowed to make it easily available:
It was these men who honored our Pennsylvania and Quaker heritage by adopting our state’s most famous Quaker, William Penn, for our logo, one of the oldest continuously used logos in the country.
From these humble beginnings and more than 150 continuous years of living up to our motto, Service with Integrity and Reliability, Hajoca Corporation has steadily grown to where we hold the distinction of being our nation’s largest privately-held wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, industrial and fire protection supplies.
Today, Hajoca - Lancaster continues to serve as a leader in the business, offering the industry’s premier lines, along with many locally manufactured products. From our well-stocked sales counter, to our beautifully appointed showroom featuring the finest bath and kitchen fixtures, we are represented by a knowledgeable sales staff offering unmatched experience and expertise.
